Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms", "Terms of Use") before using the Eternize App ("App") operated by Eternize ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the App is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all who access or use Eternize.
By accessing or using the Eternize App (“Eternize”, “App” “We”) you are agreeing to be legally bound by the following terms of use ("Terms of Use"). If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the App.
1. App usage rules
You must be 13 years or older to use Eternize. You also must be properly agent of your own actions.
You can access Eternize without entering any of data, but it is highly recommended to fill basic info: your email, username and password.
Without entering those details, any activity within the app such as adding Experiences or any social interaction with other Eternize users, may be lost.
The username and additional name is editable at any time and is publicly displayed in your Eternize profile. The email is kept private for all Eternize profiles.
We designed Eternize so you could analyze the information you share about your daily Experiences.
1.1. Experiences
Eternize enables you to track all their memories and life flow by adding Experience posts to the timeline. Each Experience belongs to a certain Category and Specialty.
Eternize has 11 Categories of Experiences:
- Science
- Career
- Active Life
- Style
- Media
- Art
- Exploration
- Food
- Hobbies
- Life & Social
- WTF
Your Specialty roles depend from Experiences you post - both private and public.
To add a new Experience post, you can either enter a keyword and search for it, or browse all the Experiences and choose the one that fits best. A post can be supplemented with media such as text or graphics. Adding media to a post is optional and does not influence levels.
You can also like and comment Experience posts.
The App allows the following post-edit options of Experience posts: privacy settings, attached media, user text, date, user tags.
1.2. Timeline
In Eternize, you have a unique possibility to add Experience posts from the past, and choose the precise date when the Experience really happened. However, there is no way to change the date once the Experience post has been published.
Experiences from the past appear both in the feed and in the owner’s profile according to their creation date.
Calendar displays all Experiences according to the time indicated by the author, not according to the date created. To view an Experience from the past in the calendar, scroll back manually.
1.3. User points and statistics
Eternize has the algorithm that assigns points for each posted Experience - both private and public.
Total amount of points is visible for you on each level you reach in each Specialty.
Comparative statistics of App users in certain Specialty is visible in the search tab.
1.4. Level system
Levels in Eternize highlight your progress within one Specialty. You can gain levels within one Specialty by adding corresponding Experience posts. The highest level is 10.
There are 10 level icon design types.
Leaderboards show most active users within one Specialty.
1.5. Direct messages
In Eternize, you can send private messages to other users. All messages are visible only by sending and receiving users.
1.6. Profile
Eternize allows you to create public or private profiles. Public profiles are visible to everyone on Eternize, while private profiles can be seen only by the account owner and approved followers.
You can change your profile privacy settings at any time.
If you change profile privacy settings from private to public, all private posts will remain visible only to you, and public posts will become visible to your approved followers.
1.7. User responsibility
You are responsible for everything you post on Eternize (including the text and graphics in comments) as well as for any Experience that occurs on your profile. Eternize is not responsible for any of your verbal and/or physical actions that occur in relation to Eternize in-app content, Eternize website content, or Eternize social media channels content.
In Eternize, you may not:
Post content from the following Categories:
- nude, partially nude or abusive
- drugs use, harassing, discriminatory, unlawful, hateful, prohibited, threatening or intimidating
By using Eternize, you agree not to
- use the App for advertisement, selling or buying products or services
- use any robot, scraper, spider or other automated means to access the Eternize App or website
- artificially increase the number of likes, comments or otherwise influence the in-App content or user ratings
2. Authenticity of your experience
In Eternize, your experience is key.
To keep statistics true to life and clean, we request you to input only what you have experienced, accomplished or been involved in.
Posting fake Experiences may lead to temporary deactivation or complete removal of the account.
3. Copyright notes
Copyright infringements notices can be sent to legal@eternizeapp.com.
4. Third party materials
Eternize has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for third party materials included within or linked from the App, Eternize website content, or content from Eternize social media channels.
5. Security and privacy settings
You must keep your password and any confidential information secure and must not let anyone else access your profile.
By default, your profile and your posts are public and available for viewing by all App users, but you can also make your profile or a separate post private.
To set your profile to private, you should go to your profile settings and turn on privacy.
If you set your profile to private, posts on your profile are visible only to you and your followers. Other Eternize users will still be able to find it in search results and view your username, profile picture, the number of your posts, bio (in case it was provided), location (in case it was provided), the number of your followers and the number of people you are following.
To set a separate post to private, you should go to post settings and turn on privacy.
If you set a separate post to private, this post is visible only to you. App users will not be able to find this post in the search results.
You can change privacy settings of your Profile and separate posts at any time.
6. Changes
We reserve the right to modify or suspend any portion of the Eternize App, or disable your access to all or a portion of the Eternize App, at any time, without notice.
These Terms of Use are effective as of April 10, 2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in the future, which will be in effect immediately after posting here. We reserve the right to update our Terms of Use at our sole discretion at any time. Your continued use of Eternize will constitute your acknowledgement of the modifications.
7. Things you should know
This mobile App is owned and operated by an individual.
Eternize reserves the right to remove any content from the App for undisclosed reasons and without prior notice. Content removed from the App may continue to be stored by Eternize.
Eternize is not a backup service and is not responsible for the loss of any content due to modification or suspension of the Services.
Eternize does not sell products, services or subscriptions on or through our mobile App, and is not affiliated with any third-party apps or services.
You may not copy, imitate or use Eternize logo, visual design and trademark in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.

Privacy Policy
Eternize operates the Eternize App and eternizeapp.com website. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, storage and use of data we receive from you.
By using our App, you agree that we may collect, store and use your data in accordance with this policy.
1. Information collection and use
To use our product and its features, you should first create a user profile in Eternize and enter our App. You can create profiles in our App based on your email.
Eternize may collect, store and use certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name and email, as well as your profile picture, bio, and location in case you choose to submit this information.
We designed Eternize so you could share information about your Experiences in a public profile or keep this information private.
By posting your content on Eternize you agree to provide us a worldwide license to distribute, host, make modifications or derivative works, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, reproduce, store and use your content.
1.1. Log data
Eternize may collect, store and use your indicated location, list of followers and people you are following; Experience posts and attached media, text, or links; your searches within the App; likes and comments to your Experience posts; your in-app screen usage time and date.
We collect this information to optimize our services and the App. The above mentioned data is stored securely with controlled access on our central server in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
2. Security and privacy
The security of your Personal Information is our top priority, but we strongly advise you to refrain from disclosing any sensitive data in Eternize, such as your passport number, address, or banking data.
We may use your contact information to send you newsletters, updates about our Services, to market to you, to help prevent spam, fraud, or abuse, and to help others find your profile, including through third-party services and client applications. You will be able to unsubscribe from our notifications by pressing the unsubscribe button within our mail.
By posting to Eternize, you grant us permission to use your username, profile picture, information about your relationships and actions with accounts, and the content you post next to or in connection with our App, website or social media accounts, without any compensation to you.
Eternize may disclose your information if we believe that it is necessary to comply with a regulation, law, governmental request, or legal process; to address security or technical issues, or to protect the safety of a person; or to protect our users’ rights or property.
If Eternize is involved in an acquisition, merger, or reorganization, your data may be sold or transferred as a part of that transaction.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of April 10, 2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in the future, which will be in effect immediately after posting here. We reserve the right to update our Terms of Use at our sole discretion at any time. Your continued use of Eternize will constitute your acknowledgement of the modifications.
2.1. Profile
If your profile is private, only your approved followers will be able to see Experience posts and user rating list. However, other Eternize users will still be able to discover it via profile search or by your top Specialty role.
When non-approved followers or other Eternize users open your private profile, they will still be able to access the following information:
- Username and additional name
- Profile picture
- Total statistics of your daily experiences
- Bio, in case you have provided it
- Location, in case you have provided it
- The number of your followers
- The number of people you are following
- Top three roles and similarity

2.2. Experience Feed
For public posts, Experience content, comments and number of likes are visible to everyone.
For private posts, Experience content, comments and number of likes are visible only to you and your approved followers. Other Eternize users will not be able to find this Experience in the search results, comment or like it.
Privacy settings of any Experience post are reversible and you can change them at any time.
If you set the Experience post from public to private, non-approved followers will lose access to it.
2.3. Push notifications
If you opt in to receive push notifications from Eternize, you will be notified when the following events happen:
- new likes or comments of your Experience posts
- new comments in the comment thread where you left a comment
- new followers or accepted follow requests
- new Experience posts with images of the users you follow
- new direct messages
- new likes of direct messages
- level ups of the users you follow
- Eternize official notifications
